The program is broken into two conferences.  Our Varsity Conference hosts our 2nd graders. Our Junior Varsity Conference has teams comprised of Kindergarten and 1st graders.  All teams play in their respective conference.The RYSI Flag Football program strides to educate our players about basic football concepts while emphasizing participation and fun.  All teams are comprised of local players and games are played within our Flag Football Conferences. 

The RYSI flag football schedule begins with introduction/training/general evaluations that are conducted in mid-late August and continues with practice/games that end around the end of October/early November. There is a practice night as well as two games per week (including a Saturday morning game).  Special events include “Friday Night Lights”, which is a night where our teams get to play on the Ridge High School field.  It is a great event where our community gets to be on the field and root for our flag football players. 

We do not keep track of scoring during games or Wins and Losses and all players receive a trophy for participating and competing throughout the season.
