What it should be about!!

Good morning, I'm reaching out to report an exceptional act of kindness by the Ridge 10u team at our game yesterday afternoon. We have a player with special needs on our roster and it's often difficult keeping him engaged during his 10 minimum plays, as he often has episodes while on the field that requires the game to be stopped. Ridge had a large lead as we approached the end of the 4th quarter when both teams set up at the 15 yard line and allowed our special needs player to take a run play and score a touch down as time expired. The ridge players, standing along side our players pretended to block, hit and actually worked together to create holes to allow our guy get in the end zone. Both teams then surrounded him and cheered all while he has a huge smile on his face. This was a small act of kindness, but will have a lifetime of memories for our player.
