RYSI travel basketball is entering its 14th season in 2024 - 2025 running both boys and girls teams from grades 3 through 8. We play in the Jersey Basketball League which includes over 500 basketball teams throughout the state of New Jersey. This is a competitive league and we ask that basketball be the first extracurricular priority for those who choose to play.  

All players MUST be registered for tryouts! 

TRYOUT DATES

Saturday, October 4th and Sunday, October 5th @ William Annin Middle School (New Gym)

 

§   10:00 AM – 11:30 AM:      6th Grade Boys

§   11:30 AM – 1:00 PM:        7th Grade Boys

§     1:00 PM – 2:30 PM:        8th Grade Boys

§     3:00 PM – 4:00 PM:        3rd Grade Boys

§     4:00 PM – 5:00 PM:        4th Grade Boys

§     5:00 PM – 6:30 PM:        5th Grade Boys

 

The Saturday session will consist of skills and drills and the Sunday session will concentrate on scrimmaging at game speed.

In general tryouts will include:

·         Skills, drills, and fundamentals

·         Interest

·         Basketball knowledge

·         Game speed scrimmage
