Competition Cheerleading Registration

2026 Cheerleading Comp. Tryout Registration ONLY

Come join our nationally ranked competition cheer program! No experience necessary.

RYSI cheer has won many local and State titles. We are 3x UCA National Champions, and the feeder program to the Ridge HS competition program.

This registration is to register for the Competitive Cheerleading Team TRYOUTS, and will be by CURRENT grade. If you want to register for the Spirit Cheerleading team, please click here . Competition teams are for cheerleaders in (Fall 2026) Grades 3-8 only. Please check that you have read the "Competition FAQs" for information and time commitments. All costs and fees are explained in the Competition FAQs, along with the information on the time and commitment for the Nationals Senior Rec team. Attending try-outs serves as an acknowledgement that you have accepted the possible time, financial, and fundraising commitments outlined in the FAQ document.

If you are registering for tryouts, DO NOT register for spirit. Once teams are selected, you will complete your registration for the competition team, or at that time, you can register for spirit.

YOU WILL ONLY BE CHARGED THE TRYOUT FEE ($70) AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION! The program cost will only be added when your daughter has made a team.

Registration fees, once placed on a team:

Senior Rec- 2 payments of $800, due May 16th & August 1st.

Junior Rec- 2 payments of $600, due May 16th & August 1st.

Senior Rec Team

For athletes in Grades 6–8 (2026–27 school year)

The team will compete with two routines

Not all cheerleaders may perform in both routines depending on team size

Some 5th graders may be invited to try out for Senior Rec

Final decisions will be made after tryouts

Junior Rec Team

For athletes in Grades 3–6 (2026-27 school year)

Clinic Schedule Required Dates:

Location: Ridge High School – Gym B

Cost: $70

Required clinics for current Grades 2–7

Sunday, April 26 | 5:00–8:00 PM

Instruction of tryout material including cheer, dance, and jumps, along with stunt instruction.

Monday, April 27 | 6:00–8:00 PM

Review of tryout material and tumbling and stunting evaluations.

Wednesday, April 29 | 6:00–7:30 PM (Optional)

Optional skill review session for anyone who may have a conflict with the required clinic dates or would like additional practice.

Tryouts

Friday, May 1 | 5:30–8:00 PM

Athletes will complete individual tryouts in small groups.
