2024 Basketball Tryouts

RYSI travel basketball is entering its 14th season in 2024 - 2025 running both boys and girls teams from grades 4 through 8. We play in the Jersey Basketball League which includes over 500 basketball teams throughout the state of New Jersey. This is a competitive league and we ask that basketball be the first extracurricular priority for those who choose to play.

All players MUST be registered for tryouts!

YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED THE REGISTRATION FEE UNTIL YOUR CHILD MAKES A TEAM AND ACCEPTS HIS/HER SPOT.

1. Saturday, October 5th Ridge HS from 1 to 2:30 6th grade boys

2. Saturday, October 5th Ridge HS from 2:30 to 4 7th grade boys

3. Saturday, October 5th Ridge HS from 4 to 5:30 8th grade boys

4. Sunday, October 6th Ridge HS from 1 to 2:30 6th grade girls

5. Sunday, October 6th Ridge HS from 2:30 to 4 7th grade girls

6. Sunday, October 6th Ridge HS from 4 to 5:30 8th grade girls

7. Monday, October 7th WAMS from 6 to 7:30 4th grade boys

8. Monday, October 7th WAMS from 730 to 9 5th grade boys

9. Wednesday, October 9th Mount Prospect elementary school from 6 to 7:30 4th grade girls

11. Saturday, October 19th WAMS from 1 to 2:30 6th grade boys

12. Saturday, October 19th WAMS from 2:30 to 4 7th grade boys

14. Sunday, October 20th Ridge HS from 1 to 2:30, 6th grade girls

15. Sunday, October 20th Ridge HS from 2:30 to 4 7th grade girls

16. Sunday, October 20th Ridge HS from 4 to 5:30 8th grade girls

17. Monday, October 21st WAMS from 6 to 7:30 4th grade boys

18. Monday, October 21st WAMS from 7:30 to 9 5th grade boys

19. Wednesday, October 23rd Mount Prospect elementary school from 6 to 7:30 4th grade girls

20. Wednesday, October 23rd Mount Prospect elementary school from 730 to 9 5th grade girls

1. The first session will assess skills, drills and fundamentals

2. The second session will be game speed scrimmaging. This session is most important and cannot be missed

3. We will accommodate scheduling conflicts as best we can but please make every effort to attend your session
