CHARLES J. HARCOURT Memorial Scholarship

Ridge Youth Sports, Inc. (RYSI) is pleased to announce two $500 scholarships (one male and one 
female) for graduating seniors pursuing collegiate or trade education after high school. 
The Ridge Youth Sports, Inc. – Charles J. Harcourt Memorial Scholarship is given in memory of 
Chuck Harcourt, a founding member of RYSI, Basking Ridge Resident & loving husband and father who passed away in 2014.

Scholarship Requirements:

One male and one female Ridge High School Senior will be selected.
Applicant must have participated in at least one Ridge Youth Sports, Inc.  program
Applicant must have a GPA of 3.00 or higher.
Applicant must have committed to either a college or trade school for Fall 2026.
Applicant must provide a one page letter of how they represent the ideals of Ridge
Youth Sports in every-day life, how they support our community and how they 
demonstrate character and leadership.
Applicant may provide two letters of recommendation.
Applicant may submit application, personal letter and letters of recommendation via

KENNETH V.  FEENEY Memorial Scholarship

Ridge Youth Sports, Inc. (RYSI) is pleased to offer one $500 scholarship for one graduating senior pursuing collegiate or trade education after high school.
The Ridge Youth Sports, Inc. – Kenneth V. Feeney Memorial Scholarship is given in memory of Ken Feeney, a founding member of RYSI, a long-time Basking Ridge Resident, Coach, loving husband and father who passed away in 2025.

Ridge Youth Sports, Inc. (RYSI) is a community based, child-focused organization, which provides instructional and competitive programs for the benefit and enjoyment of the children that participate. The program focuses on life and athletic skill development, personal growth and fun. The goal of this organization is to instill life-long enjoyment and understanding of sports.

The foundation of Ridge Youth Sports is based on the seven principles of Fair Play.

1.  Make it Fun

2.  Limit Standing Around

3.  Everyone Plays

4.  Teach Every Position to Every Participant

5.  Emphasize the Fundamentals

6.  Incorporate a Progression of Skill Development for Every Participant

·       Applicant must have a GPA of 3.00 or higher.
